Job Title: Sales and Customer Support Technician

 

Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra

 

Job Description

  • Self-educating on the Hekimax Ci system (both the cloud and off-line versions)
  • Provide technical sales support in Ghana (demos, respond to technical questions during presentations, etc.)
  • Assist the Hekimax sales and business development team to pilot and develop sales proposals for prospective customers
  • Provide technical support to Hekimax customers in Ghana and elsewhere (perform initial triage of problems and provide work-arounds if any)

 

Qualification and Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent diploma
  • At least 6-12 months of industry experience
  • Preference will be given to candidates with their own laptop and some hands-on experience developing web applications using PHP/MYSQL in a Linux environment
  • Experience working with directly with customers will be considered an asset
  • Technologies (Desired): Internet Applications, PHP, MySQL/PhpMyAdmin, Apache Webserver, Apache Tomcat, Linux
  • The Technical Sales Support will be a recent computer science or information technology graduate with a bachelors degree or diploma, with some working, hands-on knowledge of software programming, internet applications, Linux, and relational databases
  • The selected candidate will be required to learn and use the Hekimax Ci system platform to provide technical sales and customer support to prospective and existing Hekimax customers
  • He/She will be customer focused and shall have a passion to learn new technologies and software application delivery techniques
  • Must be capable of working independently or as part of a team
  • The successful applicant will report directly the Head of Services Delivery

 

NB: Part-Time position to be transitioned to a Full-Time position after three months
