Job Title: Social Media and Content Writer

 

Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra

 

Job Description

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Write creative content for websites and other various media
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like campaigns, promotions and competitions
  • Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, Instagram, etc and write engaging blog posts and articles
  • Regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

 

Qualification and Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Entry level
  • Extraordinary writing, and communication skills
  • Top-notch conceptual and visual creative skills 
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Strong content planning, strategy development and management abilities 
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
